Professional Staff
James McEntire - Owner/President. Licensed as both an "A" General Contractor and a "C-27" Landscape Contractor. An active member of the Shasta Builders Exchange for over 30 years. Past President of the local American Subcontractors Association. Certified with the International Society of Arboriculture, holds a Pest Control License, and provides application of pesticide and herbicide. Current member and past President of the Rotary Club of Redding, Riverview Sunset. James established McEntire Landscaping, Inc. in 1978.
Debbie Leone - General Manager. Debbie has been with McEntire Landscaping, Inc. since 1987, and handles management of all office duties including office management, contract administration, Human Resources, payroll, and accounting. Debbie tracks all jobs, providing cost accounting reports, and assists with project estimating, material and supply procurement, and project coordination.
Terry Pasero - Construction Supervisor. Terry has been with McEntire Landscaping, Inc. since 1986. Oversees irrigation and landscape design and installation. He has diversified knowledge in all aspects of construction design, layout and equipment operation and possesses completion certificates in Supervision and Management. Terry has also completed a variety of irrigation manufacturer installation courses and sponsored landscape element trainings. Terry oversees multiple projects and is responsible for project coordination from pre-construction to final inspection and acceptance.
Jesse Servantes - Maintenance Supervisor. Jesse has been Maintenance Supervisor for McEntire Landscaping, Inc., since 1989 and has over 25 years of landscaping experience. He oversees all maintenance projects, residential and commercial, including maintenance for construction projects installed by McEntire Landscaping for the specified contract period. Jesse possesses completionn certificates in Supervision and Management. He also holds certifications as an Arborist with ISA and Pest Control Applicator, and is trained in CADD and IT technologies.
Dustin Miller - Chief Technician. Dustin has been with McEntire Landscaping since 2004, brings 20 years of diverse construction experience including carpentry, decorative masonry, and over 12 years of land survey, civil design and construction layout. Dustin manages our Design and Estimating section and also prepares Erosion Control Plans and SWPPP's. He is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC No. 3440) and holds California LSIT certificationand received certification on Construction Layout and Management. Dustin conducts site surveys, SWPPP monitoring with turbidity testing, and assists with project coordination.
Anne Brown - LEED Accredited Professional. Anne has been with McEntire Landscaping, Inc. since 2005 and brings with her 20 years of cumulative landscaping experience including design, estimating, and installation. Anne attended Brigham Young University earning a BS in Horticulture with a minor in Business. Anne is a LEED Accredited Professional and has experience designing and monitoring sustainable projects. She provides landscape design, layout, estimating and tree surveys, as well as assisting with project coordination. She is a Certified Irrigation Designer and Auditor, and an ISA Certified Arborist and Municipal Specialist No. WE7521A.
Phillip Garbutt - Phil has been with McEntire Landscaping since 2006 and brings with him over 10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control including design, implementation, inspection and construction supervision. He designs and prepares Erosion Control Plans and SWPPP's under the supervision of Dustin Miller, and conducts SWPP monitoring with turbidity testing of water samples, and assists with project coordination and supervision.
Nathan Pepple - Nathan brings seven years of diverse experiance as a project manager, designer, and 3D modeling specialist. Prior to joining McEntire Landscaping, Nathan was a primary member of several teams designing national and interantional projects. He designs and prepares concept, schematic, design development, and presentation drawings, as well as contrsuction drawings and specifications. Nathan earned a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Pennsylvania State University. Nathan is anticipating Registration as a Landscape Architect in California in March of 2009.
McEntire Landscaping, Inc. utilizes several cutting edge technologies including ET Weather Stations, Rain Sensors, Freeze Sensors, Flow Sensors, Water Wise Irrigation Plans, and high efficiency irrigation systems. All staff receive regular training in their respective fields to maintain a high level of professional experience. Staff is afforded opportunities for personal and professional enrichment to enhance the cumulative company experience and profile. Recent staff training includes water audits, design and installation, and multiple manufacturers design courses.
